Two months ago we promised you more free sound fx libraries. We began by offering the Micro Pack: Construction sound bundle free of charge. This month we are offering you a new sound library: Micro Pack: Crowds.
What Are Micro Packs
Our new series of free “Micro Pack” sound fx libraries gather similarly themed clips we’ve shared here on the Airborne Sound newsletter, on SoundCloud, and on the Creative Field Recording blog.
The first of these collected machinery and tool sound clips in the Micro Pack: Construction sound library.
Micro Pack: Crowds
Today we releasing the second free collection in the series. The Micro Pack: Crowd sound library gathers field recordings of voices, footsteps, talking, and movement. Featured locations include:
- Food court
- Subway station
- Cafe
The tracks were recorded in ORTF stereo. Some takes feature tandem field recordings from two perspectives for additional tonal texture.
Four Choices For Sound FX
The package is available with these options:
- Pro: 96 kHz/24-bit stereo WAV files with Soundminer metadata.
- CD-quality: 44.1 kHz/16-bit stereo WAV files with Soundminer metadata.
- MP3: 44.1 kHz 320 kilobit stereo MP3 files with ID3 tagging.
These tracks are completely free of charge. We just ask that you do not give them to anyone yourself, even for free. Instead, if you know someone who may be interested in them, please send them our way! We would love to share the sounds with them.
Loop-Ready Sound FX
As an additional option, you may also download an add-on to the construction clips of 10 bonus looped version for $0.99. That delivers the original 10 files plus 10 fresh loop-able tracks for under a dollar.
