What Are the Interior Jet Flying Sounds?

The bundles of jet flying sounds include interior recordings from 3 narrow-body twinjet jet airliners: a Brazilian Embraer E175/E170, a classic American Boeing 737, and an Airbus A319.

Multiple Perspectives: Cabin and Cockpit

All jet airliners feature multiple perspectives of interior recordings. All aircraft have recordings from the cabin. The Embraer includes special cockpit recordings from under the dash and on the pilot’s shoulders.

Clean Jet Flying Sounds

We were very lucky to have unrestricted access to each aircraft to record crowd-free jet flying sounds. That means each track can fit easily with any scene, project, or flight simulator software. Any take with activity (such as galley movement) or attendant speech are split out to allow flexibility to choose between pure background tracks or clips with a bit of life and detail.

Each aircraft includes a few selections of loops flying at cruising altitude, as well as PA announcements from the captain and crew.

The recordings feature extremely rare clips of interior jet airliners. Unrestricted access allowed us to set up microphones in the cabin as well as in the cockpit itself. With these cockpit takes, you’ll hear authentic pilot and radio tower chatter, cockpit effects, and more.

The bonus of having unrestricted to the aircraft? Completely clean jet flying sounds. There are no distracting voices or movements – just clean flying tones, sounds of taking off, landing, taxiing and more. (Note: some takes do have activity and some attendant voices and are labeled to help you choose.)

Together, the 3 aircraft libraries include over 8 hours of interior jet flying sounds. Each aircraft includes every performance needed to recreate the a journey through the skies from idling, taxiing, taking off, flying, landing, and more.

The Embraer in particular has 6 takes: 3 takes from the cockpit (2 under dash, 1 pilot shoulders) and 3 from the cabin.
